If after extracting:
You got an EXE file, run it.
You got a bunch of files but you can’t run any of them, copy all of those files and paste them into the game install folder (It likely will be this one)

uhm this is the first time I saw this, one question though, about your first comment “Just saw the FLT Update for v1.08 is available but it’s missing the installation folder”, did you mean that you download that 1.08 update from somewhere else?
That’s the crack folder so yeah maybe your antivirus app / windows defender might have deleted it when you mounted the .ISO file.
Turn them off and mount the file again.

Try to edit the language line in the .ini file (example steam_api.ini or steam_emu.ini or codex.ini or skidrow.ini or 3dmgame.ini) if your windows hide the common extensions, the name of file will be without the ini, for example, “steam_api”. the icon looks like a txt file icon).

Maybe it’s because update 1.09 isn’t that smooth, can you delete it and reinstall update 1.08? :((
patch 1.09 installed when I play the gameplay is accelerated and as if the speed is at 10x without having touched anything

People use the save file folder I suppose, you keep that so that if you install the later versions, you can still keep your progress.
